TV2 pulls the plug on documentary

Written by damiende on July 6, 2008 – 3:29 am

I don’t believe that Tv2 made a mistake when this program wasn’t shown.  I think that Tv2 bended over and allowed the Sri Lankan government full access.

If for a moment Tv2 believed that the Sri Lankan government would pose as a threat at all they are a bunch of pathetic pussies that  deserves nothing but ridicule. If Tv2 want to have any sense of credibility after this. They will show this program in prime time at least 2 times.

Tv2 is norway’s Fox Channel and Fox News. Need I say more?

What Relationsship do norway want with Sri Lankan government anyway?

A good healty relationship where The Norwegian politicans and TV2 can help hide Sri Lankan and its governments dirty little secrets.

Screw the Sri lankan government, They have nothing we need, they can go play on the highway.

Norway is a free and democratic country with free press??? NO WAY Tv2 you dont have the balls to stand up straight.

  2. Steinar Pedersen Says:

I disagree that TV2 is indeed Norways answer to Fox. The main contestant for this place have to be TVNorge, which mainly spews out bullshit, superstition and retardedness. But I do agree that TV2 is well on its way to becoming equally full of bullshit.

  3. Jan Johansen Says:

I wonder if they tried to air this on NRK, the state owned broadcaster. They aired some pretty sensitive material in the past. The latest that comes to mind is about what’s been done on Sellafield.

If you know the right places on the internet, you stay more updated than watching television, but indeed, TV is still an important part for information, at least for the 40+ people.

  4. Magne Says:

The gov’t of Sri Lanka is already pretty pissed at Norway, since Norway is seen as taking side with the tamil rebels in the peace talks.

But of course this is a sensitive issue, since norwegian envoys are the main brokers in the talks, this could just as well be pressure from the norwegian government asking TV2 not to rock the boat.
