Burmas embassy in flames
Written by damiende on May 25, 2008 – 10:47 pmBurma’s embassy in Thailand was severely damaged by flames. The offices where they write out visas were damaged. This is really convenient for the Burmese government, because it makes it harder for those that wishes to aid the Burmese people to get into Burma. This fire is most likely started by sympathizers of the Junta.
The Burmese people has suffered enough under the junta and I hope that one day soon there will be an uprising that will overturn the dictators.

The fire started at 0750am local Bangkok time. I live across the street from the embassy. No one was injured and the fire probably started in a garbage can.
