A father has sexually abused his daughter and made her pregnant several times. And that is pretty sick. But I wonder how she has given birth to all these children without nobody raising an eyebrow. What about the schools. Don’t they have any contact at all with the parents.
I think its odd that nobody has discovered anything. And that the old man hasn’t been arrested before. I think this is also a case of nobody gives a fuck about what happens next door.

Austrians have a wierd perspective on humans. Nazism started in Austria, with Hitler and the rise on anti-humanism and fascism.
It is a reason why inhuman behaviour always seems to grow out of Austria. The human life isn’t valued that high, compared to many other European countries. The Austrian mentality has traditionally been that humans are wastable.

I think you are partially right. The father, who is a really sick twisted man!!, made up this story that his daughter had run away and that her children had been sent to them, the 3 who lived with the grandparents, because she could not look after them. But it is kind of strange that the system didnt require any more evidence to where the children came from or that the investigation wasnt stepped up since the mother clearly was alive! But that man was good at covering his tracks and obviously the Austrian police has some changes to do regarding these cases. This case really gives me the creeps about old men

I agree, It seem like austrian culture is different, they do do not seem to care about other and only care about their own life. In Norway this could not happen- we are to interested in what our nabours are doing at any time- its a part of our culture to keep our eyes open. Anyway this is so sick, this guy is far from normal, put him behind bars and keep him there for the rest of his sick life

I think you’re all mental that’s what I think. You’re stereotyping all Austrians - and old men - based upon two isolated cases.
To the op: Yes some austrians are fucked up; just like some americans, some australians and some Norwegians are. That old bastard has been arrested before by the way but that’s besides the point. This isn’t evidence that “nobody give’s a fuck” about what happens next door.
It is, however, evidence that in a liberal democracy people are allowed to be left alone unless there’s reason to suspect otherwise. All political choices has consequences. If you give people rights and freedom from state intervention some of us human scumbags will exploit it. What you’re saying is that the state should control and monitor everybody to avoid crimes like this from happening. You can move to North-Korea anytime you like if that’s your dream. You can’t have both great individual freedom and total governmental control over your subjects. It’s an oxymoronic sentence. It’s contradictory.
You might be correct in assuming it’s odd that no one’s suspected something, but I’m pretty sure you’ve had no reason to suspect anything yourself as well if you were a neighbour. You can’t go around suspecting people for being odd, being old, having bushy eyebrows or an evil stare. People have rights. It’s a terrible terrible heinous crime, but it’s a price we have to pay for living in liberal democracies, where the goverment trust us until they got reason to think otherwise.

That’s the most rascist statement I’ve heard in a long time. You also say nazism started in austria which is just plain ignorant - again. Adolf was born in Austria, but he was a German citizen. Germany annexed Austria in 1938 through what is later known as the “Anschluss” event. Hitler became fuhrer in 1933 in Germany.
I invite you to give some empirical examples to how “human life isn’t valued that high”, or that “the Austrian mentality has traditionally been that humans are wastable”. I think you’ll find they’re just as deplorable as the rest of us. You might find isolated examples, but not demographically more so than serial killers from USA. According to your logic americans have a knack of serial-killing because there’s plenty of such cases there.
Christina: Only thing I can say about you is you shouldn’t judge all apples as bad because you’ve had one rotten. Same so with old men. I think you’ll find that most are loving fathers and grandfathers, which is just as appalled by this case as you are.
By the way; no I’m not austrian. I’m norwegian.
