I set one goal for this vacation. And that was to make it to at least level 67. And I made it. I did quite a few quests in Blades Edge Mountains and Zangarmarsh and the xp really helped. Within next week I hope to make it to level 68. Most of the quests in Blades Edge Mountain are fairly straightforward. And some are really hard.  I have also done a few quests down in Zangarmarsh and I still have a few to do down there so that is the next thing to do. I have also leveled my cooking skills. I managed to raise my fishing skills a few points in doing so.

I refuse to buy herbs fish or meat to level up crafting skills. One hour of fishing got me enough fish to level my cooking skill more then 20 levels.  Only a lazy player would spend 10 20 gold on the ah instead.

During the last week I have made at least 500 gold by just doing quests and putting drops on the ah. Making money in Wow is quite easy if you ask me. It just takes some patience and that is something lots of players are lacking.

Tomorrow I will continue doing quests in Zangarmarsh and I will continue to raise my fishing skill. I will also take a trip to winterspring to finish of a quest line there.  My aim is to get as many quests done as possible. As well as raising a few skills.  Wednesday is my first day of work in the new year. And Thursday I have to attend a meeting after work.  So I have two days of solid gameplay ahead of me.

At this time I have six different domains registered.  And I have a few more coming in right after Christmas.

Domains are really cheap these days with the low dollar so getting a few to help get some more traffic to the blog isn’t a bad idea. The plan is to have two of these domains provide traffic to the rmtexposed blog. And the rest of them are going to be used as trials for various ideas I have.

More and more ffxi accounts are being hacked. And for the most part SE is refusing to help those affected. Well if someone hacked my account and SE refused to do something about it. I would call my bank and demand a chargeback, that should teach SE to stop messing around with their customers.

I can’t understand why SE doesn’t change the security aspects of their accounts and how you can change the information in it. Right now it’s so full of holes and it looks like SE is helping the hackers and not the paying customers. I hope that SE will lose a bunch of customers over this money talks, and it looks like SE only understands the money issue.

My prediction for 2008 when it comes to FFXI is that things better change or people will leave in large numbers. 2008 might be the last year FFXI remains popular.

I hate facebook apps with a passion. Who the hell gave you permission to spam me with different types of crap. Every time I log on I have at least 10 new applications waiting to be installed. Why the hell do I have have to install crap because other facebook members like that crap. Enjoy it with others that enjoy that kinda crap. Simple as that.

Before my last break I started a bunch of quests in Stratholme and last night I finally got around to doing a few of them.  Did a quick run with two level 70s. I have also been doing quests in Winterfall. Gained enough reputation to be friendly with the Timbermaw hold.

Hopefully I will be able to play some more before the year ends. One more day of working I hope been busy today and it will be busy tomorrow. 4 people didn’t show up for work today. They better have a good excuse.

The subpoena seeks financial and sales information, the identity of specific World of Warcraft accounts owned or controlled by IGE, the identity of World of Warcraft accounts that IGE has power leveled, and the IP addresses IGE used to log into World of Warcraft to distribute products sold by IGE. The subpoena also seeks documents which show all websites owned or controlled by IGE or its affiliates at any time.”

This is good news because if they destroy their records they will get the irs on their necks. If they hand out the records. Customers will be pissed off and most likely banned from the game. And it will also make it possible to go after other goldselling companies. No matter what happens it will set a new standard.

Actually this should be a warning for those that are thinking of getting into the goldselling business.

The case against mmoglider is still going on. They failed to resolve out of court in October. You can find a website here containing all the info about the case.

There is an outrage over at Allakhazam lots of accounts has been hacked. And SE doesn’t do anything about it. I can certainly understand the players rage but I think they should react differently the internet is a great media to get your points across. And if the masses over at allakhazam would join together and start a proper crusade against SE they would have a bigger chance of succeeding.

I am sure that some of the members there knows a journalist. Get their help write a press release. Try and gain the medias attention if you manage to get your story picked up by a newspaper or a television station you have come a long way. The more the mainstream media starts to ask SE questions. They will be forced to consider their words when they reply. After all if this is true then actually SE has been the victim of something that is actually a serious crime.

A while back I purchased Trainz ultimate collection. And I have had some fun with it since then. The beauty of it is that it doesn’t take as long as railsimulator to load. There is also lots of free downloads for trainz. This is due to a great community that creates trainz addons. The biggest resource for trainz addons trainz maps and trainz rolling stock is the Auran website. So go check it out.

I am looking to purchase antique books these days. If the price is right I am thinking about doing this for a living. Selling old books that is. All I need is some more books and a place to sell them.

The thrift store I work in are moving and thus all the books will be destroyed. I guess thats what happens when you have someone in charge that doesn’t know what he is doing. The result of his incompetence is that nobody delivers old books to the store anymore. And it will be fun seeing how well he manages to run the new book department when nobody delivers books for him to sell.

The other day I got some rare childrens books by Turid Balke and Anne Cath Westly. These are in good shape, and I might sell them later on.

Qxl  is still letting account sellers sell their accounts. They only react when people complain about the auctions. And some suckers are still handing out information about their accounts etc. This makes it even easier to have fun with these suckers.  Posing as a potential buyer can also be fun.

Mind you this is something I do for fun and when I have some spare time.
